Corbières Roi du Mont. From wild boar country, this is a robust and fruity blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah and is full of character and spice.
The untamed hills of the Corbières express their true wealth and identity through its wines and through the ever present wild boar.
At the heart of the Corbières Appellation, the Mont Tauch cooperative is surrounded by an exceptionally well preserved Mediterranean landscape of wild herbs and flowers. The wild boar, symbol of Mont Tauch, thrives in the peaceful, remote area of Southern France. So much so, that it has gained the title of King of the hills or Roi du Mont.
Tasting: Bright ruby red colour, with a bouquet of red fruits and spice. The palate is smooth, medium bodied and rich.
