Fitou Réserve de la Condamine is a well balanced, medium bodied, rich wine, with hints of red fruit and spice.
The Condamine vineyards are located near an ancient holding between Paziols and Tuchan, first occupied in Roman times.
From the vineyards surrounding the village of Tuchan on an ideal terroir for viticulture. In the middle ages, a Condamine was a large holding owned by the local lord. On this land, there still stands the building which once belonged to the owner of the surrounding fields. The soils around are poor and divided between pebbles and chalky clay mainly planted with Carignan and Grenache of up to 60 years old, and schist planted with Syrah.
Tasting: a medium bodied, elegant wine with aromas of red berry fruits and spice.
