VDP d’Oc Village du Sud Merlot is a delightfully soft and fruity wine, inspired by Roland the local café owner.

The Village du Sud range of wines represents some the most popular characters of the village of Tuchan in the picturesque South of France.

Its history

In the small French village of Tuchan, surrounded by vineyards, the local wines reflect the characters of the villagers themselves. Sophie the flower seller, Claude the cyclist, Roland the café owner and Bernard the fine gourmet, all bring their personality and character to the Village du Sud.

Its character

Like Roland the café owner, this is a multi faceted Merlot with hidden depths. A pleasingly fruity nose leads to a depth of plummy, cooked fruits and hints of spice. It has a dark seductive side and an amazingly rich and dark red colour.
