Vigneron - David Gabinato

David Gabinato lives in the village of Tuchan, the home town of Mont Tauch.

Born in 1970 in the Ardennes region, David's links with Tuchan come from his mother's side of the family. He soon returns to the south and first discovers his love for the land thanks to his grandfather Jeannot and then his father Lionel.
He then buys his own vineyards and sets up as a vigneron in 1993.
Retired rugby player, now hunter; he has always particpated in the life of the village and enjoys sharing a good glass of wine with his friends.

David took part in the first vintage of Les Douze in 1998 and then again in 2007. His father also took part in 2000.

Favourite dish: Fresh ceps with chilli and garlic and air dried Bayonne Ham
